Gambrel House
The Gambrel house, named for its' particular roof design (A ridged roof with two slopes on either side, the lower slope having the steeper pitch), was an extensive project. A massive expansion occured, while preserving the original design and feel. The addition is a marvel of research and expertise. The source of the logs from the existing home was discovered through much investigation, and the result of this diligence can be seen today; when you gaze upon this immense structure it is nearly impossible to distinguish the original from the addition. This kind of achievement is truly something to be proud of.
